Very beautiful product, very good service

Locstar - C90 smart lock has brought great convenience to my life! Among the multiple unlocking methods, the fingerprint unlocking is particularly sensitive. It recognizes almost instantaneously with an extremely high success rate, and it's not affected even if your hands are a bit wet. The Bluetooth connection is stable. When approaching the door, the mobile phone can quickly connect and unlock without waiting. The APP remote - control function is even more amazing. You can easily open the door for family members or visitors when you're not at home, and you can also check the lock status and unlocking records at any time, giving you a strong sense of security. Although the installation process requires some measurement and preparation work, it goes smoothly by following the detailed instructions. The overall experience is excellent. Highly recommended!

I like this lock very much. Although it is a bit troublesome to open the mortise with tools, it is not a problem if you have strong DIY ability. The rest of the installation is really very simple and it feels great to use. At least my friends around me have not used the same style of door lock as me.

It was difficult finding a smart lock for my sliding door, so I was skeptical on fit and function. This one has really exceeded my expectations though, as far ad quality of product and set up.

I’m just an average DIYer retrofitting my handles, and the only hard part was drilling and cutting the holes to install. For pros, it’ll be very easy. For average homeowner, YMMV as long as you have the right tools to cut through the aluminum/metal frame. There’s a provided template to follow, and once all that’s done, attaching the handle itself just took minutes.

There’s a English app you’ll need to install (TTlock) which lets you finalize setting it up，worked great. I’m sure you can delete and clear it after set up if you’re concerned about privacy.

What I love about this handle is that the fingerprint sensor is very accurate. It comes with two little cards that you’ll need to program if you want to use that instead, or just use the numerical keypad. Haven’t had any issues getting locked out at all.

Also to clarify, unlike deadbolt locks which will automatically lock itself, this one has an “auto lock” but you’ll still need to twist the handle upwards to mechanically engage the lock. “Locking” in this case makes it so the exterior handle does not engage the lock mechanism.

Searched and searched for a 'sliding' door smart lock and stumbled on this one. If you have tools to mill, the lock comes with a template. If not, hire someone with the appropriate tools to have it professionally installed. It's worth it. ! Feedback from my use and from the installer:

Pros:
- Nice look and feel, voice prompts and responses are crystal clear.
- Audible notification when the door is locked/unlocked.
- Easy setup for fingerprint and the key-card registration. Literally took less than 30 seconds!
- Can send e-keys (even to multiple recipients at once) via text message or email
- E-keys offer lots of flexibility. They can be timed (i.e for visitors), permanant (no end date), or selected days (i.e key only works on Mondays!)
- Manual or app generated (4-9 digit) pass-codes that can be shared via sms or email
- Physical keys (2 incl) if the 4 AA batteries run out of juice and you can't use a pin or key-card (2 incl)
- Narrow footprint (1/2 inch wide) means it should fit most doors (mine is an Anderson sliding, with integrated blinds).
- You can opt to install this in conjunction with the original door lock; original lock can then serve as an indoor safetly lock.
- The lock is compatible to Google Home, Nest, Alexa, etc.

Cons:
- The mortise lock (I'm told!) wasn't the same build quality as the installer was accustomed to (i.e. a little flimsy, but works well!); hard opening and closing might cause a failure in the mortise.
- The app appears sketchy at first but that's only because the included QR code to download the app, redirects you to Chinese language site (you can translate on the site). You can also opt to download the app from Google Play (trusted download).
- Sharing e-keys means the recpient has to install the TT Lock App for proximity opening/closing
- The app will only unlock the door via proximity (note:If you need to unlock it on the other side of the world, you need to use it with a smart gateway. They sell this product in their store. ）

I gotta say, this smart face - recognition lock is a total delight! The face recognition feature is just outstanding. It's so quick and accurate that I don't even have to break my stride as I approach the door. But that's not all. The fact that it supports multiple unlocking methods like mechanical keys, cards, passwords, the app, and fingerprints is a huge plus. There are times when my hands are full, and being able to use my fingerprint or just have the app on my phone to unlock the door is incredibly convenient. It really has thought of every situation.

I'm really enjoying the face - recognition lock. It has enhanced my daily experience. No more fumbling for keys. It just works perfectly. I'm satisfied.
